Thursday, February 26, 2009 Just went to a minimal disease pig farm, alpaca farm and a horse riding resort for work placements...[1)Fell from a horse while trotting in the jungle. I must say it is a pretty "exciting" situation to be in. 2)I managed to pulled out 7 piglets from a single sow as it was having difficulty birthing naturally. 3)Lastly, got spat on by an alpaca. It smelled really really bad. (they are known to spit on people as a defense mechanism).] These were landrace pigs. During the time i went it was nearly christmas, thus alot of them were to be used as christmas bacon.   Kissing a piglet.
